If you are a mountain biker, you have certainly heard of the Neilson trails in the Bras-du-Nord Valley. And it's also very likely that you've seen hats, t-shirts and other accessories proudly emblazoned with the word "Neilson".
These trails have acquired worldwide fame, for their quality and also for the breathtaking views they allow to admire.
The most seasoned pilots as well as the most adventurous embark at least once a year on a day called "FULL NEILSON", where it is a question of riding the Neilson East, North and South trails starting from the Shannahan reception.
This fairly sturdy route represents around 32 km of mountain biking and more than 1100 m of vertical drop, the equivalent of a small raid in an incredible setting. From the foothills of the Bras-du-Nord valley, these trails will take you through a variety of mountainous and forest landscapes, the highlight undoubtedly being the majestic Cap des Sept Côtes bordering the Neilson river for a few kilometers.
It is with this in mind that the second episode of the Ride Quebec City series was conceived. Hope it makes you want to go ride a "FULL NEILSON"!
